AARON LANDON – ST. MARTIN’S UNIVERSITY
Aaron Landon begins the 2019-2020 as the 16th head coach in Saints’ men’s basketball history. Landon comes to Saint Martin’s after coaching six seasons at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Washington. At SPSCC, Landon compiled a record of 102-68 and over the last four seasons, the Clippers went 93-26. He became the winningest coach in program history and was named the NWAC West Region Coach of the Year three consecutive seasons. The Clippers were ranked in the top five NWAC Coaches Poll from 2016 to 2019 and won three consecutive NWAC West Region Championships. Before Landon took over the SPSCC program in 2013, he was an assistant coach at GNAC school Concordia (Ore.) for two seasons.
BRANT MINOR – PACIFIC UNIVERSITY
Brant Minor enters his second year as an assistant coach with the Pacific University men’s and women’s basketball program. Previous to Pacific University, Minor established Max Hoops (MaxHoops.com) which runs camps, clinics and showcases around the country. In the summer of 2018, Minor hosted “The Exclusive” a fifty team NCAA certified tournament in Las Vegas. Plus, he has been involved in basketball camps throughout the country including Duke, Gonzaga, Oregon, and Tennessee, in addition to camps throughout the Northwest. Prior to that, he was assistant coach at Southern Oregon University for five years. Coach Minor began his coaching career working with the women’s program at the University of Portland’s women’s basketball team and men’s team at Warner Pacific.
JON WILLIS – LINFIELD COLLEGE
Jon Willis is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Linfield men’s basketball program. Willis comes to Linfield from Northwest Conference rival Willamette where he spent the previous four seasons as a lead assistant coach while also overseeing WU’s junior varsity program. His 12 years of coaching include stops as head boys basketball coach at Yulee High School in Yulee, Florida, and assistant men’s coach at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Willis graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2007. He then pursued a master’s degree in athletic administration from Concordia University-Irvine.
JAMIE OEI – VANCITY BASKETBALL
Jamie Oei is currently the Head Coach and Executive Director of Vancity Basketball Academy. Prior to Vancity, Coach Oei served as an Assistant Coach with Division II Simon Fraser in 2014-2015 and as an Assistant Coach with UBC from 2010 to 2014.During his stint with UBC the Thunderbirds won two Canada West Championships and took home a Bronze medal at the 2011 USport national championships. Prior to UBC, Jamie spent three seasons as the Head Coach at Douglas College, a tenure that produced a national championship and another appearance in the CCAA championship game as well as two PacWest championships. Coach Oei was also named BCCAA and CCAA Coach of the Year in 2001 at Langara College.
